COVID-19 AND US PURCHASING T&C's 26/03/2020 ONWARD

On the 25th of March 2020 we made decision to temporarily close our shop front in Bath Lane, Bendigo to protect our customers, our families, ourselves and the wider community until it is safe to re-open again.
Firstly, we want our customers & friends to know that we are still trading online and as "normal" with new stock arriving, orders being delivered locally free of charge locally and orders being posted several times a week.

LOCAL DELIVERY:

Yes, deliver locally and it's FREE! So if you are local and live within 10kms of the Bendigo CBD we will delivery to your home, office, ect. We deliver on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. If you order by 2pm on those days you will receive yuor order the same day. We deliver up to a maximum of 10kms from the Bendigo, VIC 3550 CBD. 

If you live further away then this you will to select one of our POSTAGE options and have your order sent via Aus Post.

Please note we cannot 'deliver' to PO Boxes. Items to PO Boxes must be sent via Aus Post (their rules, not ours). 

We are happy to pick up items if they need to be exchanged for another item or returned for a store credit note. Just contact us and when we are out delivering in your area we will swing by!  

POSTAGE IN AUSTRALIA

TO QUALIFY FOR FREE SHIPPING in AUS:

We offer FREE STANDARD POSTAGE* ON ALL ORDERS (EXCEPT WITH THE USE OF CREDIT NOTES, GIFT VOUCHERS REDEMPTION, PURCHASE OF SALE ITEMS).

EXPRESS SHIPPING is set at $13 for all orders.

If you require postage for the use of credit notes, gift voucher redemption or sale items it is $10 for standard post & $13 for express post.   

We post Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Orders placed before 2pm on these days will be posted the same day. We lodge every parcel at an Australia Post outlet so that we receive a lodgement number (to ensure your parcel arrives safely). Once lodged we will email or text your Tracking Number to the email address or mobile number you have provided on your order. Make sure you check your junk folder just in case our email went there.

Once your parcel is on it's way you can check the progress by jumping onto the Aus Post website www.auspost.com.au/track

We are not responsible for any shipping deliveries that may be affected by theft, delays, customs, natural occurrences or incorrect information supplied by a customer.

CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER:

Unfortunately at this stage it's a NO from us! We know it really sucks but we all need to all do our bit to stop the spread of COVID-19. . 

EXISTING GIFT VOUCHERS & STORE CREDIT NOTES: 
If your GIFT VOUCHER or STORE CREDIT NOTES expires while the store front is temporarily closed please contact us on sohoboutiquebendigo@outlook.com and we will extend it for a further 3 months (obviously this will be reviewed in due course if longer is needed). When you email us please include your full name, contact number and an image of the Gift Voucher or Store Credit Note so we can look it up for you. 
GIFT VOUCHERS purchased in store do not automatically go online. Unfortunately as smart as our POS and ONLINE stores are they just can't automatically share info about Gift Vouchers. If you have a Gift Voucher you would like to use online while the shop front is temporarily closed please contact us on sohoboutiquebendigo@outlook.com and we will active it online for you. STORE CREDIT NOTES (when an item was returned in store, in person) do not automatically go online. Unfortunately as smart as our POS and ONLINE stores are they just can't automatically share info about Credit Notes (I know, such a pain right). If you have a Store Credit Note you would like to use online while the shop front is temporarily closed please contact us on sohoboutiquebendigo@outlook.com and we will active it online for you. When you email us please include your full name, contact number and an image of the Store Credit Note provided to you.
 
ONLINE PURCHASES 26/03/2020 ONWARD - Return & Exchange Policy:
 

Products purchased online can be returned for a STORE CREDIT NOTE within 7 days of receiving the item. Please email sohoboutiquebendigo@outlook.com or call/text 0432408580 to request an return. We will approve all returns once the item is returned to Soho Boutique (see NEW postal address below) and has met the following conditions:

The item has not been worn or used in any way.

The item is returned with all tags in the original condition.

The item has not been altered in any way.

The customer is responsible for returning the item to Soho Boutique within 7 days of requesting the exchange. This includes any charges associated with this eg: postage or freight costs to return the item. A Store Credit Note will be issued once the item is returned and is valid for 6 months from that date.

No items can be returned in store until it is safe for the store to re-open. 

The Return & Exchange Policy excludes:

ALL SALE or DISCOUNTED items.

ALL EARRINGS & HEAD WEAR ITEMS (clips, scrunchies, beanies, headbands, ect). Due to health and safety reasons these items cannot be exchanged, returned, swapped or credited for a change of mind ect.  

ALL MAKEUP (we sell lipsticks) Due to health and safety reasons these items cannot be exchanged, returned, swapped or credited for a change of mind ect.  

Faulty Items:

If an item is faulty please email sohoboutiquebendigo@outlook.com or call/text 0432408580. Once an item has been deemed to be faulty by the manufacturer you be offered a repair, exchange or refund.

Please note that if an item is faulty it does not automatically entitle you to a refund. We will firstly try to repair the item, or have it replaced.

Sale Items:

All shoes on SALE will be sent without a shoebox.

Sale Items cannot be returned, exchanged or credited unless faulty.

AFTERPAY & ZIPPAY PURCHASES ONLINE:

We treat Afterpay & Zippay purchases the same as we treat all other payment methods (cash, eftpos, credit card and paypal purchases). We are happy to allow you to return for a Store Credit Note that you can use on something else. You will still be required to make any/all payments to Afterpay or Zippay for the original purchase amount.

The Store Credit Note will be valid for the original purchase amount or if you purchased multiple items and are keeping some it will be for the items returned only. Store Credit Notes are valid for a period of 6 months (as per STORE CREDIT NOTE  information above)

POSTAGE, TAXES & PURCHASING WORLDWIDE (outside of Australia)

All items sent outside of Australia are sent using Australia Post Regular Service with a tracking id. We post several times a week for deliveries outside of Australia and they normally will be dispatched within 48 hours of the order being placed. We will email your Tracking Number to the email address you have provided on your order.

We are not responsible for any shipping deliveries that may be affected by theft, delays, customs, natural occurrences or incorrect information supplied by a customer. 

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs. This is applicable if an items is being returned for a store credit or exchange. This is also applicable if an item is not collected by a customer, or multiple delivery attempts and/or the item is treated as abandoned and returned to Australia. All return shipping costs will be deducted from the customers store credit once the item is receive back by us.  

Please note: When purchasing outside of Australia you may be subject to Customs Taxes, Import Taxes (or other taxes, charges, duties ect). These are the responsibility of the customer to pay these charges. These taxes are normally charged by the government or state authorities of the country/state and payable directly to customs/post office/government/parcel service in order to be able to collect your order (FYI: some governments/state authorities charge more duties to deliver to business addresses rather than residential addresses). Soho Boutique does not charge these and holds no responsibility for these charges. If you are unsure please contact your local government, state authorities, customs or post office before purchasing and find out if these taxes/costs will apply to your purchase. 

Customers purchasing outside of Australia are subject to the same Purchasing T&C's as those purchasing in Australia (as stated above). 

PRE-ORDERS:

Items that are noted in their name and/or description as 'Pre-order" have not yet arrived in store. When you Pre-Order an item you are securing the item before it's arrival. Please note that exact delivery dates are not given on Pre-orders. We are very proud to say that the majority of the time our Pre-Orders arrive by the Estimated or Approximate arrival date. However, on the odd occasion Pre-orders may run late due to manufacturing, customs, shipping or other reasons out of our control. Please allow up to 4 weeks after the Estimated or Approximate arrival date to be safe. 

 

Please note:

  • Items purchased online sometimes have not be tried on prior to purchasing and sometimes this is also relevant for in store purchases. If a full priced item does not fit, suit your body shape, ect you will be offered an exchange or Store Credit Note as per our PURCHASING Terms & Conditions. We do not give refunds for a change of mind, incorrect choice or for items that do not fit/suit. Please choose carefully. Excludes Sale Items.
  • That all exchanges/credit notes cannot be used to purchase Gift Vouchers.
